What’s on at The Sparkle Weekend
The Sensory Zone - the park will open from 11am providing calming music, wellbeing activities and children’s play, for those in need of a gentler environment to enjoy all we have on offer
Family & Youth Zone - a space for families and young people to gather, have fun, engage with workshops and create memories. Bouncy castle, face painter, interactive games, ball pit, crafts and creativity, and of course drag queen story time
Positivity Zone - a space for art, culture, and creativity. Join us to see local queer artists sell their wares, engage in workshops, pitstop crafts, and sign our positivity walls to share your trans journey and highlights of your year
Wellness Zone - when you want the relaxation, our wellness coaches and beauty therapists return with hair tips, gel nails, yoga, mediation, and workshops exploring gender wellbeing through writing and improv classes
Community Zone - hosting twelve organisations this year, and supported by Sainsburys our Headline Sponsor, receive advice from Manchester Parents Group, seek support as a young person from AKT, or engage with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence on their mission for a better world.

This year we’re so excited to announce The Trans Joy March.A short march across the LGBTQ+ village and surrounding areas, we will be expressing our gender in all our glory.
Trans rights are human rights - be loud, dress proud.The route is approximately one mile long.
